The Chilko River Watershed: A Synopsis of Reports and a View to Sustainability (R. Holmes, Cariboo Envirotech Ltd. 2001) The CRCA commissioned this report in 2001 to provide a compilation of existing research and scientific literature on the water, watershed and fishery resources of the Chilko River. The report project included a two day workshop in collaboration with the CRCA, Cariboo Envirotech and Quesnel River Restoration Services. The workshop on developing watershed sustainability occurred at Chilko Resort the Chilko River and Lingfield Creek.

Initial Review of Forest Development Plan for the Chilko River Watershed (H. Hammond, Silva Ecosystem Consultants Ltd. 2001) This report provides an overview of the structure and function of the forest ecosystems in the Chilko River Watershed. A forest ecologist�s analysis describes the probable impact on forest types from clearcut logging proposed for the area.
